I just checked the weather for the next few days in the Hudson Valley and what do I see? 6-8 inches of beautiful, glorious snow! Yahooooooooooo! We've had warm temps and rain. But I think things are turning around!!! Celebrate with me!:jumphappy:

Cha cha cha...:cheer:

Okay, no premature celebrating, lest we "p*** off ULLR!" Let's just quietly and with great longing look to the ski and look sincere and deserving....

Ullr is happy today :snow: Snowing heavily in western Maine, rate is about 1+"/hr. Fast-moving system, supposed to be done by tonight.
POW day tomorrow????? :ski2:
Well, compared to what the western divas are getting, I guess I'll call it "Pow Lite." But hey---snow is snow, and skiing is skiing. Will report back w/totals when done.

1 p.m., just cresting 6" and still snowing. Looks like we're going to exceed the predicted maximum here in western Maine :snow:

8+" in western inland Maine as of 3 p.m. No let-up, no visibility (when storms clear or slow up, I can see mountains from my windows).
Pinch me.
