Alta tomorrow 12/2/07.. is it worth the drive?

So Tim and I are seriously thinking about driving down to SLC tomorrow to ski at Alta. Did any of the Utah divas ski there today?

Trying to decide if it is worth the drive plus $54 per person for lift tickets Were the conditions good (obviously early season)? Was ballroom open? Anything else open and accessible aside from the 5 trails indicated on the website?

It's.... okay. Ballroom is open and that's in good shape. There are a few other areas (racecourse, fred's trees) that are marginal as far as going off-piste and not hitting rocks. The new snow helped, but it's still a really low base.

It's also stupid cold this morning. We're waiting for it to hopefully warm up a bit. (4 degrees and dropping at mid-mountain)
