Rabbits are eating my Lilies! How can I keep them away without hurting them or covering up my garden?

Oh, darn it! I haven't a clue what the solution is but that's got to be infuriating. Hopefully someone can pop in and give some suggestions.

You can make a solution of cayenne pepper, vegetable oil and water in a spray bottle. Spray it on the plants every morning,(due will dilute the hot taste). Bunnies and squirrels don't like the heat.
If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what to tell you aside from a live trap and relocation.
Hope it helps.

There was recently a very similar thread on another board I frequent. I can't remember exactly what it was called, but there were a couple of dried powders that you could sprinkle around your plants to keep the critters away. I believe one was dried urine (coyote or fox or something like that). The point being, that the bunnies smell it and think the actual animal is around and so they stay away! I will try to find that thread and figure out what exactly the stuff was.

ETA info: Ok, people recommend blood meal (which is a fertilizer), coyote or fox urine, or a product called Liquid Fence. Can't tell you how effective any of them are, though. HTH!

I use Liquid Fence to keep the deer away from my daylilies and so far this year they haven't been eating my flowers. It supposedly keeps rabbits away too. It stinks though.

We've used Liquid Fence and it seemed to work. A word of warning, though - the smell lingers and it also made the leaves all look like they had water spots.

I'm going to try the cayenne pepper, vegetable oil and water concoction tonight as I already have those ingredients. If that doesn't work I'll try Liquid Fence.

Thanks guys!
