Afternoon tea party

I promised to post a photo of my afternoon tea.

It's not the best photo, in fact, it doesn't do it justice if I do say so myself! But the guests wouldn't wait any longer before they fell on the food.

The menu:

Poached chicken tea sandwiches
Smoked salmon tea sandwiches
Asparagus mini tartlettes
Scones with jam and cream
Cupcakes- vanilla, lemon and rosewater
White chocolate tiny lamingtons

Mariage Freres tea, and homemade iced tea.

OMG when can I come over? I love a pretty table setting and entertaining, and this pic is delightful! The asparagus mini tartlets look fabulous.

I actually take photos of my table settings from various holidays before we sit down to eat and am going to put together a small scrapbook of them! Thanks for posting.
