I'm going to chime in here with a recommendation of snacking on nuts, as well. If you feel too shaky, drink some juice for a quick sugar fix.

Hypoglycemia can be caused by meds, too. Or hormones.

Why not mention this to your GP at the next visit? Comforting to know if there is a problem or not.

I agree and definitely plan to mention it to my doctor, problem being I don’t actually have a primary care doctor at the moment.. I moved a couple of years ago, and didn’t find a new one right away, now I’ve been actively trying to find one and many around me are not taking new patients. I certainly haven’t dedicated as much time as I should be to remedying the situation though, and need to do figure it out soon!

Liquid stevia drops don't have that nasty aftertaste that regular stevia has. Just 2-4 drops needed. I use a brand called NuNaturals.

There are blends with stevia that taste good too. I found Whole Earth Sweetener that's stevia and monk fruit at the Starbucks in Mammoth.

Just in case you want to avoid the glycemic hit of white sugar.
