A quiver of another sort...

Ok, until I joined this site I never contemplated, nor knew many who had ski quivers. Seems so ordinary to many of you, at this point I only hope to have a 2 pair ski quiver someday!

So while reading an article on Yahoo about a bikini ban at a pool I came across another quiver reference.

The restrictions were not popular, even in the community where the council passed a resolution in 2006 to favor the "natural family" consisting of a working husband, a stay-at-home wife and a "full quiver of children."

Not passing judgement, but to me this sounds like a funny place to live! I'm 3rd of 6 kids, guess my folks had a pretty big quiver of children!

Hah, I guess I'm from a quiver of children. 6 here. My mother is one of 12, my father is one of 5.

Here I thought you were going to talk about a quiver of bikinis.

Welcome to Utah, where less than six kids doesn't even fully qualify as a quiver!!

I must be an "all-mountain" model. I'm a quiver of one. :p

I'm fairly certain I'm a high speed carver. I'm Fuego identified

That could make a good thread. What ski do you identify as, as a person?

No volklgirl - they broke the mould and couldn't make a quiver!! (Got the same problem - only kid!)

Let's see, I'm the first girl so I'm the first woman's ski in the quiver and I was the workhorse who doesn't put up with much crap, so I suppose I'm a sturdy, crud buster sort of ski...I'm perhaps a Volkl Attiva Tierra

I guess than those of us that are only kids, are a quiver of one - the Rossi Z5!
That was actually written in one of the reviews one year!

haha, I read that too. Read that exact quote to Mr. Sheena - we were trying to figure out what exaclty would comprise a "quiver" of children.

Utah is a weird place. Thank goodness for the good hiking, biking, and skiing!

As irony would have it, I'm guessing that kind of quiver started with another sort of quiver:eyebrows:
