A Perfect Snowboard for the Riding Diva!!

First let it be known that I don't tend to buy a piece of ski gear based soley on graphix, however.....................

In a search for a snowboard for a girlfriends 14 year old daughter, we were discussing the graphix on many of the boards. Aside from Roxy who has some very cute graphix, which appeal to her age group, I was particularly turned off by many of the designs out there.


Then I stumbled across the BitchBoards. OMG, I love them. I wish they had these graphix on my skis!!!

If you're a riding diva, would you buy one of these?
If you're a skiing diva, would you buy skis designed by this company?

I took a 5 min "me break" and took a look. Love it and most of the designs. Sure beats the playmates from Burton, or the flowers on last years Origins from Salomon.

As for skis, if the ski construction was up to what I needed, those types of designs would make them a real contenter I think.

The web site is even user friendly! The close-up feature when looking at the boards is really nifty too. I take it that every one is the same board but with different graphics? I wonder who actually manufactures the boards?

those are awesome! i love the en vogue graphic...rad. yeah, i'd buy that graphic...i wouldn't buy the board just based on the graphic though.

totally rad stuff though. i agree, most of the stuff out there right now looks the same, and pretty obnoxious at that. unless you like graffitti and 80's.

Those are really nice - if there were skis that looked like that I would definitely consider them, assuming they were the right level for me. The pretty ones would win in a tiebreaker!

I am ordering one of these boards for a girl who skis/snowboards with us regularly. I'll report back on her thoughts of performance.

I love that one, but I think I'd choose the purple crumpled tissue - they are so unique! Too bad I don't think I'll ever need a new board. I have the Salomon Maiden from a few years ago & I completely love it. It's so unlike skiing where I feel the need to upgrade pretty often & have different skis for different conditions... Maybe it's because I'm not that great a snowboarder, but it just seems so much simpler (as well as cheaper) equipment wise. Not that those Bitchboards are cheap!

I love that purple tissue paper too! All of the graphics are really stunning. I'd take them on skis or a board - somehow I feel the larger surface of the board would be more effective.

I was looking to get a really low cost setup on a snowboard so I could try it out on and off in the coming season - but it won't be one of these at these prices - no matter how tempting. (Please no carrots.)
