A Note About the Off-Season and the Forum

Whether we like it or not, ski season will soon be coming to a close (well, for most of us, anyway).

I just want everyone to know that TheSkiDiva.com will be open for ski talk, no matter what the season. And if you'd rather talk about biking or boating or anything like that, be sure to check in to our Off Season Sports forum, where you can chat with like-minded Divas. After all, we're all still Ski Divas, even when the skiing stops! :becky:

I totally missed this when it was posted so I'm bumping it back up! I'm gonna need you Divas when the skis get put away. :D

NO NO NO!!!! The summer is for caressing our equipment!
* Take your skis on a picnic.....they deserve that!
* Clean them up with some nice soap and water.....have they had a bath all year????? C'mon....do we need to call social services for neglect????
* Great time to stock up on your favorite Ski Area Stickers and pins!
* Make yourself a "GOT TO DO IT" list for next year! List runs, resorts and equipment you "GOT TO TRY"
* Condition the heck out of yourself! This is my goal! :cheer:

Oh, those books are interesting! All of my photos are on Shutterfly already so I'd only need to upload the things from our TR here. Hmmm. I might just have to do that.

And yes, my skis need a good wipe down and cleaning before their summer tune.

I guess we should add that to the list of what defines a ski addict. I love to look at my skis in the closet during the summer and dream of snow :snow: This site will keep me going in the dry months and we can share what we are doing to prepare for next year. Only seven months maybe? :ski2:

What defines a ski addict? Well, I'm only shifting gears, to skiing on another form of H20 :D

Oh, and BTW, I have made quite a few Shutterfly books. Fun to do (if a bit time-consuming) and very often sale-priced - get on their mailing list for e-mail updates. They can also be "shared" online as well.

Accidentally, skis ended up in 3 rooms, but none have made it to the closet (even though I last skied March 18th) because they make me smile :D :yahoo: thinking about the greatest ski season I've ever had. And NVG: I'll be taking my new Foxy Mama's to the Crescent Ski Council Beach Convention next weekend!:ski2:
