A New Buyer,Need Help...K2 Misbehaved, Nancys, Auras??

Hey girls.. So I'm new to Ski Diva, I just moved to Jackson Hole, WY and I'm getting ready to buy my first pair of skis and need help.

A little about myself:
5'2 (on a good day) 125lbs. athletic.
Skiing ability: Intermediate/Adv. I've grown up as a vacation skier,
skiing once or twice a season since I was tiny. I'm comfortably on
blues and blacks on a Breckenridge/Mammoth type mountain but
I've heard Jackson's mountain isn't the same standard per say.
I'm new to powder skiing but I'm determined to excel at it here.

Looking for: A good all-around ski. Fat enough to help me through
the tons of powder we get here, but I want a ski I can maneuver in
if I want to do some groomers to get in some quick, fun turns
and runs and moguls too. I want a ski that I can grow into since I
plan to ski a lot this winter, but I don't want to overwhelm myself
with frustration from a ski that's too much for me.

I've been looking at: K2 Misbehaved, K2 Nancy, Volkl Aura's- but I'm
having a hard time getting a ligit gear review rather than a
manufacturer write-up.
What do you know about these skis and/or ideas of other skis that
might be a good fit. Thanks!!

I own the K2 Nancy and love them. They are much more forgiving, but also give a bit of stiffness. I found the Aura too stiff for really great powder days and a bit heavier. I live in Aspen and have been skiing since I was two. I love to ski the expert terrain. My thought is the Aura'a are for super experts. I think the Nancy's are a great ski to grow into as an intermediate/advanced skier, especially at Jackson Hole. I can't comment on the misbehved, but I know it's much fater than the Nancy. The Nancy is a great all mountain ski!

I ski a K2 Nancy since last December. First I had problems, but this was because I was only used to my Voelkl Kayas, that are smaller, as well in lenght as in width  But after one day in powder our relationship started to grow. I don't have a comparison to the Aura or Head, but I love my ski. But I've also heard/read that some don't like the ski, because they don't manage to turn it.
As far as I know there is no Nancy in 08/09. And the missbehaved is, as already said above, fater and stiffer. The Nancy from 07/08 and 06/07 are the women version of "old" K2 Seth, just a bit softer. And I think the Seth is popular ski.

But I think most of the Divas would recommend the Aura, as it's favored here

Edit: Did you take a look at the Voelkl Kiku?? Don't know if anybody already demoed it by chance, as it's a completely new ski in the Voelkl line.

Hello ladies,

I got the Nancy last year as a first fat ski and absolutely loved it. Great ski to grow into and to learn from, smooth and forgiving and all that.

However I would like to get something stiffer the next time. Have thought about the Seth or the Coombas. But maybe the Misbehaved is just stiff enough. Does anybode know how much stiffer it is?

Jackson Hole has a ton shops on mtn. that demo, and a vast variety to choose from. You might consider waiting and try them all out?

Nancy = bad.

I had the Nancy at the beginning of last season and I could not sell them fast enough. It was like skiing on wet noodles. Super soft - TOO soft. I like the twin tips, but the ski itself is a mess.
