We made two runs before leaving and were relieved that no one hit us. It brought back memories of Beech and Sugar (NC) in mid winter, eek!

Gluttens for punishment that we are, we plan to return Thursday morning.

Excellent. I avoid the WROD, because it reminds me too much of childhood skiing in Michigan and the east coast. . . but it does remind me that real skiing is starting soon!

Yeah, It was scary. I was shaky my first run. You know, I always wonder if I REALLY remember how to ski, or if the time off has erased any progress made the previous season. Then I thought about everyone else on the slope skiing for the first time this season. What do they think?

By run #2, I was having fun, but the lift lines were terrible and standing so long made my new boots hurt.
