Huge bummer for you.
I'm half expecting the same to happen for our (husband and me) 3-day pro development camp, supposedly starting tomorrow at Treble Cone. TC has been closed last 2 days, to recover from the drenching it had last night and the night before. We had a huge electrical storm last night, and it was way too warm down at the foot of the mountains, with rain just hammering down.
So disappointing.

And I've been so looking forward to getting in some good skiing at Porters and Hutt when I get back later next week. Hopefully all is not yet lost!

I'm not suprised to be honest but I was hopeful, it is what it is I guess.

I was really looking forward to skiing post camp as well, we'll just have to see what the Weather Gods have instore for us

Oh no! That is devastating. I'm glad you've had some good tips from him though. And there's always next year's camp, right?

Yes they're hoping to run it next year. To be honest this seasons been pretty much a total write off, Porters is hoping to reopen again on Thursday but T1 and T2 liftlines have gone so its going to be hiking from the Chairlift offload (if they can patch it up) up to T3 which will be a good warmup ! Here's hoping with some snowmaking and grooming they can get it going again and limp on for a while.

Sorry to hear about your camp/season. That's pretty much how I've felt about the last few seasons here in Pennsylvania. Just too warm to maintain any decent amount of snow. The women's clinic I did up at Holiday Valley in New York this past January was held over 2 days... in the pouring rain. lol

It can be so unkind .... DH just said that if all the rain that fell was snow it would be a whole different story.
