30L Daypack for both Hiking and Resort Skinning?

Thanks -- I usually use a carry-strap that goes over my shoulder, too, but I'm thinking there's going to be a lot more walking to and from lots, etc, this yr, so wanted to be prepared. So that means the Dakine12L or the Osprey 14. Haven't heard anything about the Osprey, so far.

For me the best pack is the one that fits me best/most comfortable to carry. If you can , try on with some weight in a store. Or if the return policy is good order both and try on at home.
