3-Finger (lobster) glove recommendations

Hi Divas!

Looking for glove recommendations!

I'm looking at my Hestra 3 fingers failing imminently---even with wax treatment. Too much damage in the leather.

Now I'm ready to switch to tougher hide from the goat leather.

Recs for cow leather 3 fingers? I like having long cuff that I can tuck my sleeves into.

Black Diamond is one of the brands I'm looking at.

Wrist straps are nice but I'll sew my old hestra straps on if need be.

I've been very happy with my Free the Powder gloves and mittens. They have a lobster claw too. There's an extra layer of leather in the high wear areas (exactly where my Hestra gloves disintegrated.)

I read about Free the Powder somewhere here and bought 3-4 seasons ago. Mine are holding up great. Very happy with the brand.

Yes, Free the Powder! Very cost-effective, very durable, and WARM! My Hestra 3-finger have become my "warm weather" gloves because they are not warm enough. If you order some, follow the sizing advice as I wear a small in them vs. a medium in most other brands.

+1 for Free the Powder! I’ve snagged their discounted ones that have small blemishes and are extra cheap before and never been able to tell what the blemish was  You could get their lite liner too and swap that in for warmer days. I think my mitts loose warmth/loft faster when I sweat in them so nice to have options. My other mistake I’ve made is not leather treating immediately.

I now have a pair of the short cuff mittens (SX Pro) on their way to me. My Hestra trigger mitts aren't worn out yet, but I have a pair of Outdoor Research expedition mittens that I use on single-digit days that are warm, but unwieldy. I'm hoping the SX Pro's will give me the same warmth with a lot less bulk.

This brand is new to me, time to take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

No longer need to switch up gloves climbing vs down when touring. I run cold and have raynuad's. This year they added the super d lobster glove.
Ok, that's such a good endorsement---sorry you have to deal with raynuads, but if the Flylows work for you with your fingers that's a solid proof!

How do you find ones with small blemishes?
Also do you treat yours with their product or other leather protector? I’m looking at getting some of these.
