2008 Head Edge+ 11 SH3 Ski Boots

Does anyone have any experience with this pair of boots from Head? I know I am taking a choice because one should never order any boots online w/o having the proper fitting by a bootfitter. However, the price is very intriguing ($150 or so for a new pair). I am looking for a pair of all mt boots with a little comfort and very quick response time. Thanks for any info.

Don't do it. Really. The wrong boots can make skiing miserable and you'll end up spending far more than you save on trying to get them right.

And again don't do it. Spend good money on boots. You can save money on skis, clothes etc. But if the boots don't fit and you are in pain, you won't ski. Trust all of us on this one. Don't buy them!

Definitely don't buy them if you've never even tried them on. That's just a recipe for disaster. $150 may sound like a good price but it will be a complete waste of money if these boots don't fit your feet right or aren't appropriate to your skiing level/type.

I like Head boots, and these are supposed to be good ones (high speed, expert, all terrain, male fit), but, unless you've been fitted specifically to this boot, don't even think about buying online! Another issue about buying boots online is that even tho' the price may sound good, no shop is going to work on them for you without charging hefty rates which will quickly raise your cost to well over what you would've paid in a shop. Buying boots at a reputable shop usually gets you free modifications for the life of the boot.

Unless you've had your feet in this exact model of boot (such as in ski shop) and know that it will work, I would advise against this purchase.

Okay, I guess is five vs one and it makes sense. I think I'll just wait and purchase them from a reputable shop next season. Any good ski shops that you can recommend in the summit county, Robyn? Christy Sports? Thx everyone again!
