2008 ESA Stowe December 13-14th

We are just a little over a week away from the first ESA event of the season.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with ESA, it stands for EpicSki Academy. There are 3 during the season, Stowe VT, Aspen/Snowmass, Big Sky MT.

ESA Stowe, is the first of the three which is formerly known as Easter Tune Up, with the intent of a giving students a fresh start to the ski season with some new skills.

I, along with a couple other Diva's(I'll let them chime in here) will be counting the days for the next week until we meet, greet and ski together.........

Last year we had amazing coaching, and phenomenal weather!!
This year I ordered good snow conditions so I'm sure it'll be all that we want, and more!

I'm in, am looking forward to it. Driving up and staying with Vanhoskier. I attended last year, great clinic, great vibe, very friendly and Stowe is a fabulous mountain.

Last year we got so few pictures because the weather was phenomenal and we didn't stop skiing long enough to get pics. I'm hoping to have more ESA Stowe Stoke this year!!

Had so much fun and had a great dinner with Robyn. I ended up falling in with telemarking and I am so glad that I did not break. I can't wait to charge down the mountain with you at Stowe! I'll post a trip report later.

I'll be there, too but not officially part of the ESA event. I'm hoping to ski with you ESA
folks on Friday morning, but for the rest of the ski time I'll be in a different three day
clinic there at Stowe. Maybe we'll "run into" each other on the hill!

So when I arrive Thursday night, probably after dinner, is there a central location
to come say hi???

I'm getting really excited.
We just got over a foot of snow here and more is coming down as I type.
I wish I could go out and enjoy it, but I'm busy at my desk getting stuff done so I can leave Thursday for Stowe!

At work today I was totally discombobulated;
couldn't think of anything else but being at Stowe,
on snow, with all these wonderful people.
I am too stoked. Can't wait to get into the car
and take off Thursday afternoon, just as soon
as classes end.
This is Tuesday night, and I am packing.
Oh boy, waaaay too much anticipation going on here....

I'll be there Thursday evening, maybe around 8:00 or 9:00. Will check
in at Charlie B's to say hi in case earlybirds are hanging out there, then
off to my group up the hill I'll go. Hope to see you Thurs night just to
say hi and again Fri am to catch some turns together. It looks like a
very cold, lightweight, soft snow weekend . But then I've
been working so hard on my formica skills!!!

Sarah, the fact that you aren't going is the single most disappointing thing to me, about this ESA. I really had hoped to meet up with you on this one.
