So as Murphy's Law would have it...I am planning to drive from Aspen to CO Springs today, after work. I wake up to about 2" at my house and it's still DUMPING!! ugh. SO over it.

Eisenhower Tunnel & Vail Pass = chain laws in effect? Tractor trailers sliding off the highway? WHAAT??

Geez Louise!! This drive is going to be awful.

It's not over yet.....I'm hiking for turns tomorrow, baby! Alta got 16" overnight and 2-4" more tonight. It's gonna be stellar.

Yeah I'd be hiking for turns too!! Problem is, we have to go to the Denver area and buy a car. Like...we HAVE to come back with a car for my boyfriend. His crapped out 2 months ago and we have been waiting for the lifts to close to finally trek to out of the mountains to go buy one. I'm actually excited to be around some real shopping and stores for a change. Plus I'll see my parents, my mom's new horse, his parents...and we're going to a Rockies game on Sunday errr...um, if it doesn't get snowed out!!
