ASPEN (AP) - Twelve may be the luckiest number that snowriders have ever known.
Aspen-based Ski.com has put together a deal to celebrate this season's record snowfall, a deal that has 12s all over it.
The company says that anytime Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge or Keystone receives at least 12 inches of snow in 24 hours, skiers and snowboarders will have 12 hours to book a vacation package - with $12 lift tickets included.
The 12-hour window will last from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time the day after the snowfall.
Ski.com vice president of marketing and business development Kris McKinnon says the "epic snowfall across the West this season has resulted in the best skiing and riding in years," and the promotion will help encourage people to come to the mountains.
