$100 Patagonia Down Sweater at City Sports!

City Sports currently has the Patagonia Down Sweater on sale for half off in their stores! They have it online as well ( https://www.citysports.com/cityspor...men's+Down+Sweater&pf_id=154377&dept_id=84312 ) but only in Black and size Small, however I saw different colors in the stores. They're based in Boston, but know they have locations in other cities as well, so check that out on their website.

I know this is a much love item here, so check it out an Divas who don't have one yet!

Doh, looks like it already sold out. :(

Can someone explain the down sweater to me? You wear that under a jacket? It looks bulky!

I got one for xmas after the Divas talked it up. It's not bulky--it fits under my ski jacket and my regular Marmot jacket (which is actually somewhat fitted) just fine. I LOVE it. I have already lost 4 feathers though, I wonder if that is normal?

Oh, man, I could use a third! LOL

(Actually, I would probably be thrilled with a third. But unnecessary.)

And no, it's not bulky. In fact, I've discovered that layering two is possible, and comfy ... In fact, instead of taking a down sweater AND my big down coat on trips to the mountains, I wear one down sweater and pack the second -- if I need extra warmth, I just put the second sweater on, and it's like a bigger down jacket. Probably even warmer, actually, with the layering going on.

(I received two down sweaters for Christmas, as some of you know, and decided to keep both instead of exchange one; so I have to justify having two, but it's working out just fine!)

Seriously head over heels in love with my down sweater. I've skied in it in -40 temps with a lightly insulated team shell over it and was perfect. It really works well in many different temps. It's got to be one of my top ski gear pieces I've ever owned.

OMG I really want one now. I am all about very warm comfy things.

I found them on Campmor.com for $160, in case anyone is interested.

I just bought one on Travelcountry.com for $140.00, plus free shipping and a free subscription to Outside Magazine. They only had black, but I like that color in this jacket.
