It is positively dumping here in south central VT today! Conditions are amazing, but high winds and blowing snow at the top make visibility -- and just getting around -- a bit of a challenge. Sort of like skiing in a snow globe.

I love days like this because the rock hard bumps get soft and pillow-y, and I just can't keep out of them. I skied till 1:45 when I just had to stop --my legs are shot, but in a good way.

cool! I think they cancelled the Wednesday "ski-bum" races at Killington today because of the severe weather (weird huh?), at least via the webcam the ski course does not look like it was setup.

it was absolutely amazing today! the only down side was that school was cancelled so there were a lot of kids around ;)

I ate lunch with some girls that I have had in class before (I sub). That was a bit weird, but we all survived.

Hope to hit it again in the morning

Just got in a little bit ago from having dinner with ride_ski, which incidentally was very nice, and it's still snowing like crazy! We got at least a foot so far, if not more.

Tomorrow is going to be an incredible day.

I have one word for yesterday- OMG. Wait, that's actually 3 letters, not one word.

I can say this though, if it wasn't for WAA WAA and my great instructor, our very own TCarey  , I never would have been able to ski until 3PM yesterday. I spent more time  because of how much snow there was and how much fun I was having.

I have been (notice the past tense here Teri if you're reading) the person that could ski anything groomed. As soon as there was any "real snow" I would regress and totally flounder. Not yesterday. I don't know what she said or what I heard that "clicked", but it was something. OK, so my bumps were't pretty, but I made it down and much smoother than in the past....

Can't wait for today (although I think my legs can- it was a little hard getting out of bed) I hope more Divas can get out and enjoy the great conditions here in the NE

Wendy, it was great to see you. Thanks for braving the bad weather to meet me.

That's funny, I used to sub, too. Did the girls think it was cool that you were there skiing, or were they "like" she's an old fart ?

Subbing can be ok or very difficult!!
