08/09 K2 Misbehaved?

Hi everyone! I've never skiied a women's specific ski before, and I was wondering how they compare to the regular "mens" skis? I was looking at the K2 Misbehaved in particular, because I wanted something similar to last year's Seth, and the Misbehaved pretty much IS last year's Seth. Just wonder how soft it is? The same as Seth? I am a pretty strong/aggressive skiier and don't want something super light. Maybe the Line Prophet 90 would be an option too. Any thoughts?

Hi Trixie.
Normally the WS version of a ski (if it has a true unisex counter part) is a tad softer, and a different mount point(forward).
If you, typically like the unisex ski and mount point then you may not like a WS ski.
OTOH, you may demo them and find your sweet spot!

Stats for comparison: It appears that these two skis have the same idea and TR but different dims and material. I'm guessing the MB is going to be a whole different ride, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I prefer the WS ski. I'm short and chubby with a big rear end, so it just makes more sense to have the forward mount. I find that the more "normal" sized you are the need for WS isn't really a necessity, from what i heard.

Either way i got the K2 one luv... and i love them. they are on the softer side.

Thanks for your replies. I would probably compare the specs of the Missbehaved to the old Seth Vicious (not the ObSethed), I think K2 used the same mold for them, but I don't know about the Bioflex core.

I've heard great things about the Prophets......good grip in icy conditions, nice floatation, fast and manueverable. The WS version of the Prophet is the Celebrity, with similar dimensions but a carbon fiber matrix instead of a metal one, so it's a bit softer.

I'm 5'10" , 160lb and fairly strong and athletic, and I found the Celebrity to be as stiff as I'd want a ski to be. (I find a lot of WS skis too soft). So, I don't know how I'd feel about the Prophets. HOWEVER, I do recall reading an online review (forget the source, sorry) in which the female testers preferred the Prophet over the Celebrity for its stiffness.

So, I think the lesson here is to demo and find out what you like for your style of skiing.
