Jenny injures her ankle at Mammoth

Tvan

Angel Diva
There once was a skier mid-shred
Whose fall left her days filled with dread.
On our site she opined,
With our tribe (who were kind),
And whose poetry filled a whole thread.

The Divas have managed to turn this thread into fun.

@Jenny, I haven't been around much this summer, but I have been thinking of you. Sounds like only about 2 more weeks in the cast.

I'm sorry my mountain did you in. That was some heavy grabby snow.

The Divas came and it rained
And sadly your ankle was pained
Take the summer to heal
And soon you will feel
That there is a lot to be gained.

I know you'll do well in therapy and will be stronger than ever by next winter.

@Tvan - You asked for it . . .

Higgledy Piggledy
Ski diva Jennifer
Took to the slope but she
Had a small spill

After recovery
You can be sure she’ll be
Enthusiastically
Back on the hill

Form - Double Dactyl
Love these things - didn't think I'd be able to come up with one, though.

Here's a few I particularly enjoy, for various reasons:

Higeldy Piggeldy
Sergei Rachmaninov
wrote his concertos for
handspans like wings.
Few realistically
can pianistically
digitalistically
play the damned things.

Higgledy Piggledy
Ludwig van Beethoven
Bored by requests for some
music to hum

finally answered in
oversimplicity
here's my fifth symphony
DADADADUM.

Higgledy Piggledy
Nic'las Copernicus
Looked at the universe
spoke to the throng:

give up your Ptolemy
Rise up and follow me
Heliocentrically!
Ptolemy's wrong!

Well hopefully you won't be wearing it by that time of year. But you could paint it like a rubber boot for the fall?

I know. I was actually looking for something that would make it look like a leg with a sandal or a flip flop!
