I have seen so many women over the years who lose their confidence skiing with predominantly male groups including their own family members! Playing catchup or 'man up' doesn't do anything to quell the nerves!

Skiing in an all female group can definitely work, maybe less competitive, more relaxed and certainly can be more FUN! Having said that get the right guys in the group and... well that's another story :)

All-women's clinics are very worthwhile if you wind up in a good group. I've definitely heard snarky comments from women in the highest level of an all-women's instructional camp (and no, I was not in that group, just the hearer of said snarky comments). I think that you can get a great learning environment in a smaller co-ed group -- I know that I have. It's more about the personalities of those in the clinic, your particular group, and the instructor's ability to manage the group.

Happy skiing!

You've probably already checked these out, but Kim Reichhelm's clinics are well-respected. Check them out here: http://www.skiwithkim.com/
