Ski Diva Extraordinaire
I love the snow, the mountains and the sheer beauty of the landscape in a white winter. Snow fascinates me...I was twenty when I first saw it and 38 when I saw it actually snowing on our first skiing trip to NZ. I fell in love with it and skiing in it was so hard, but I was hooked. (My sister-in-law gave up on her booked lessons, but I persisted even in the blizzard conditions - which was amazing in itself as I was never a sporty person and not up for high physical challenges or demands)
Skiing gives me so much joy and a huge sense of accomplishment. Skiing is thrilling, surreal even, but most of all it's *badass* and I can do it, not expertly but I'm doing ok...and on a good day when it all just aligns and I have awesome mojo...well, you gals already know what I'm talking about...
