Just going on Saturday, or Friday too for the $1 lift ticket?

The $1 ticket isn't Saturday? It's April Fools day $1 on Friday, 3/31. Oh dear.

So, this may change our plans. We were offered a room at a great price and told by our friends at the inn the lift tickets were $1 on April 1. My fella is going to be out of work for several months with an upcoming surgery, and he is on a very tight budget. No need for costume advice, I guess. I am bummed. Advertising your "April Fool's Day special" and in the fine print, it's March 31, is evil. Or at the very least, annoying.

Since I paddle whitewater about as well as I ski, I've spent lots of time swimming in freezing water. But the thing that keeps me from pond-skimming is thinking about what it would do to my boot liners. Yuck.

I'm actually working that angle, as well as griping to Waterville. We have an unrefundable room for Friday night downstate and that makes me mad. But good advice, and thanks! Found out sooner from you!
