Ski Diva Extraordinaire
This morning I got up at 3:30 am (after going to bed at about 10:30 and not sleeping well because I knew that I had to get up at 3:30).
I got up this early to drive my son to the train station. He is spending the day at one of the colleges he is considering. As we were pulling out of the driveway at 4:20, I said to my son, "The only time I've left the house this early was if we were going skiing." He said, "yeah - I know - we should be skiing". But instead it was raining, and raining hard. We had a 50 minute drive to the station and I put him on the 5:20 train, where he promptly leaned against the window and went back to sleep.
I, on the other hand, drove to work, and got in at about 6:00 am. All the while, I was thinking about the times we left the house at 4:00 am - just to go skiing. Oh well, not today, but maybe soon . . . .
December is only two months away! :D
