We've got another 7-8 weeks here in the Banff area. Lake Louise hasn't given an exact date, just early May - but will likely be the 1st or 2nd weekend in May. Sunshine will be open until May 22. Snow is still great. We're not going this weekend - but I will be out again next Tuesday.

I'm skiing today if I survive the demo skis I have. But the lease is up on my apartment here. I might day trip but no more 'home' until next season. :-(

Sounds like the snowstorm in MA will mean Wachusett can get in a few more late season weekends. Anyone up for skiing on Monday, April 3? Just got an email:
"With as much as a foot expected this weekend, we are now looking to extend the season on weekends further into April. We already plan to be open again on Monday, April 3 to celebrate the new snow. Since Monday also coincides with the Boston Red Sox home opener, we will offer skiing for only $5 to anyone who comes on Monday wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey."

We close next weekend. I hate spring skiing anyway, so I always feel like it is preparing me for the season to be over. Most people are saying "today might be my last day" even though coverage is incredibly good for this late in the season. I've seen almost no brown spots that weren't in fact deer poop. I just hate sloppy snow.

I skied today and barely survived the snow! I'm looking forward to hiking, and I know sailing is in your near future.
We will soldier on somehow.
Skiing Tremblant today with Lizzy. Slush bumps after lunch and some delayed opening of some runs. But not a bad day today. The Caribou Cup aka adult beverage puddle jump was this afternoon. No sun for the party. Skiing morning with a late lunch are the plans for tomorrow.

I looked at the Wachusett video from today. Don't think you'll be disappointed. Besides, the CCC lodge is a historic building that all tourists should visit, right?
