My First Season Pass!

I will be purchasing my first season pass this year! I used to have a job where I received free lift tickets, but this is different. I will put putting down the cash to ski unlimited at Nozawa Onsen this year.

At first I was debating between the 5 day and the season pass. After doing the math, I figured the season pass was doable. Now that I've booked New Years (7 nights, so 6-7 days skiing) and an overnight later in January (coincides with a fire festival- 2 days skiing) I'm up to 9-10 days already. So the season pass it is!

Woohoo!

Wishing you lots of powder! Japan is high up on my tick list of places to ski, maybe some day I'll be able to pick your brain on it!

Thanks!

Ah, powder - even when the locals were talking about how bad the snow was last year, it was amazing to this east coast girl!

I'm excited to build my skill and get a lesson or two in as well at the beginning of the season.

I'm not sure. I was there in January and February this past season. Last season was a bad season according to everyone though. I thought February was better, although I've read March can be real nice.

It's really hard to get lodging in January if that's anything to go by. Between New Years and the Fire Festival, the town is booked up for both on the slopes and in the town fun!
