And, Mr. Moseley is always super cute...
(I've seen the video before, but I didn't quite understand the point he is trying to make…)

SKInet had this video linked in my feed today. Interesting technique that I haven't heard before. Maybe its just because I would never intentionally seek out waist-high monsters, but it might be worth a peek. And, Mr. Moseley is always super cute...

Nice shots of retraction turns!Came across a video by an Austrian that reminded me of this thread from last season. Shows a progression of drills for short turns on groomed, then how it can be done in bumps. Of course, can take quite a while to get from starting out to being comfortable at speed on bumps. I know I need plenty more practice.
A lot of the videos about bump skiing have someone on the ground in the background. A reminder that it's easier said than done.Nice shots of retraction turns!
My favorite was the guy in the left side, halfway visible in one of the last bump scenes, on his back with legs and poles in the air. A reminder that everyone, at some point, has flailed in the bumps!
And I've been that person flailing around more than once!A lot of the videos about bump skiing have someone on the ground in the background. A reminder that it's easier said than done.
OK, so one more thing to be nervous about on bumps: is there someone filming that person who looks awesome, while I'm here flailing around? And I've been that person flailing around more than once!
