Oh boy! Here goes.

Have never posted here before so please bear with me. ;)

Looking for advice on new skis. If I can find the right pair at the right price I just may go for it rather than waiting.

Been skiing on my Atomic Beta Carv 9.18 170's for about 9/10 yrs.:( I am 5'4" 135.

Read a lot of info and am unsure if the skis are out-skiing me or the other way around. When I bought these, shaped skis were just emerging.

I'm in intermediate/advanced skier. I shy away from diamonds for the most part. Need to improve my technical skill and would love a ski that allows me to go everywhere. Speed is not my thing because I would get chatter in my current skis and find it common to cross my tips.

Now I'm desperate to get a bit more width under me and a little less length! Last season I got a bit more confidence and discovered that when there is powder cover I'd love to learn moguls and get off the groomers! If I could guarantee I'd never have to ski a groomed run again I'd just go fat but here in the PNW we are often left with heavy sludge and going off the grooms is like skiing wet cement. But when the conditions are good I wanna go!

I'm more of a cruiser girl that wants to play and learn bumps and trails and I'd so love to take advantage of a powdery bowl run now and again. I can be aggressive but don't like to be forced to keep up with my skis. On the other hand, don't want slugs on my feet. Keeping in mind that we are often bound to the groomed runs here and often they are popcorn or icy sludge. Our powder is generally heavy.

Read a lot about the K2 skis and there seem to be split camps. All in all the Burnin's sound a bit too stiff and heavy but I think I'd love anything by comparison to what I have now!

High expectations, yes. But from what I've read, you ladies are up for the task!

Any and all advice/comments/help are welcome!
Love this forum! Thank you thank you lady skiers!

Anyone have experience with Millet Ski Clothing?
I have sent all but two of my ski jackets to a consignment sale and will be reinventing my ski wardrobe. The brand that I'm really intrigued by is Millet. Has anyone had any experience with them?
